Breaking news from Philippolis

This is just a quick “hot off the press” update: the new look Philippolis Digital Learning Centre (PDLC) is almost ready for launch.

Mirroring the same format as the “mother-ship” (Hazyview Digital Learning Centre), PDLC will launch in the next 12 weeks with a state-of-the-art International Computer Driving License (ICDL) Academy and an Open Learning Academy.

In December 2013, 38 incredible high-school volunteers from South Africa and Kenya helped to finish building our new Digital Learning Centre, as well as the “Ouma’s” Soup Kitchen and Store Room.

Philippolis is the place that birthed Good Work Foundation, and to see our passionate team building a space of world-class education in this community makes me incredibly proud. The latest tablet computers, edutech apps and software, and cloud-based learning are all coming to a small town in the Karoo.
