Top Student, Hospitality: Qolani Muhlanga. We sit here at Justicia, 20 minutes from some of the best Lodges in the world. Some of them have become our biggest sponsors and supporters in our education revolution for young rural people. Today, it is so exciting to announce that the top hospitality student this year comes from our Justicia Digital Learning Campus. This is a student who has worked hard at both theory and practical and in fact has eight gold medals in his theory results. Qolani Muhlanga, congratulations on this amazing achievement, you can be very proud. We wish you success for your future and hope with this talent it leads you into the hospitality world.

Top Student, English: Felicia Cuba. It is no secret that the majority of learners GWF works with come from disadvantaged backgrounds. The amazing part that distinguishes their story from the South African cliché is that these young people use their circumstances as opportunities to learn and ultimately change their future situations. Felicia faced many challenges including going some days without transport money to attend her classes. Determined, Felicia worked hard and graduated top of her class with a distinction in English for 2016. With a spirit like that, nothing will ever be impossible in your success Felicia, keep it up!

Qolani Muhlanga, congratulations on this amazing achievement, you can be very proud. We wish you success for your future and hope with this talent it leads you into the hospitality world.

Top Student, International Computer Driving License (ICDL): Increase Khensani Sengwayo. For a student who struggled to find the ‘switch on’ button of a computer 11 months ago, Increase has outdone herself this year. This young woman has passed all seven of her ICDL modules with a distinction (A). All her exams were passed at the first attempt and with an overall average of 93% – simply amazing. Congratulations to you Increase and we wish you all the best and so much fun as you continue to explore the digital world from rural Hazyview.
