GWF Week in Edu-Tweets #15

1. Marimba, Jembe, shakers and drums, all the instruments that the Open Learning Academy students have learned to play since 2015. GWF Media Intern Mfumo Thobela went to visit one of the music classes for the first time.

2. From GWF Blogger Mpho Lebyane who also blogs about her personal life every Wednesday. Mpho has been writing real stories about her high and low times in life. Click here to read her blogs.

3. From GWF CEO Kate Groch who was happy to announce the success in the signing of agreement documents for the expansion and establishment of the Justicia Digital Learning Campus.

4. From GWF Blogger Mpho Lebyane, who captured a photo of the new CompTIA A+ students working as a group in one of the modules in the course. These students have already graduated in International Computer Driving License and are now expanding to IT.

5. From Hour of Code SA who launched at GWF’s Hazyview Digital Learning Campus last week. Hour of Code Trust taught rural Grade Four learners and their teachers how to code with and without a computer.

6. GWF is thrilled to have the little learners from rural Mpumalanga  preschools back in the barn for fun learning after the long December holidays. Every Wednesday they sprint into the barn more than ready to get onto the computer tablets and build some blocks.

7. From the co-founder of Change the World Trust Natalie Emery who was teaching rural Mpumalanga Grade Four teachers and their students how to code both on paper and computers.

8. From GWF Media Intern Mfumo Thobela who was part of the team that went to plant some trees donated by Food and Tress for Africa, at the Justicia Digital Learning Campus.
