1. From Open Learning Academy facilitator, Selby Mokoena – Njabulo Mashele preparing his English students for their final oral presentations. English communication is a pivotal part of our Absa-sponsored digital bridging year.


2. From T-Systems SA – The T-Systems and GWF team celebrate Hazyview Digital Learning Campus winning the CompTIA most growth award in the category small/medium academy. We were thrilled that T-Systems’ urban ICT Academy won the award for largest academic partner. Wins all round and a boost for IT in South Africa. This was at an event held at Montecasino in Johannesburg.


3. From GWF CEO, Kate Groch – The Hazyview team (back home) celebrates as soon as they find out that Hazyview brought home the gold.


4. From GWF – our tech labs on wheels continue to roll in to rural schools in Mpumalanga as part of the Open Learning Academy programme. This week we were thrilled to brand our charging trolleys with the Good Work Foundation and Rand Water Foundation logos.


5. From GWF blogger, Accolade Ubisi – Open Learning Phase 2 rolls into Ifalethu Primary School for the first time. Mecer tablets preloaded with educational content (focusing on math’s and English) form the basis of wonder-filled learning.
