GWF Week In Edu-Tweets #40

1. It’s spring month and we are introducing our first value(Excellence) for this month’s quotes again.


2. From GWF CEO Kate Groch, Kate and Deliwe represented the GWF team at the Gender Mainstreaming Awards this past thursday. The event was held at Johannesburg and we are proud to tell you that GWF received the Empowerment of Women in the Community Award. This is proof of the great work that the team does.


3. From Hazyview Media Intern Mfumo Thobela, during the media class this past week we were working with Twitter. Most of the students were not familiar with it, but now they are tweeting up a storm. And it is safe to say that  their profile photos were uploaded, there are no eggs.


4. From Head of Open Learning Academy Crispen Bvumghe, the Open Learning Academy students of Babati Primary are doing exceptionally well, they are scoring straight As and we talking about 100%. It has been at least three months since they introduced to the Open Learning programme and so far they doing very well.


5. From GWF IT Technician Abna Machavana, Abna was working through the weekend to install the main UPS at Justicia Campus.


6. From GWF Barista Facilitator Teaman manzini, Teaman was very excited to show off his newly produced rural Baristas. They have been making delicious coffees during their practical assessment. They will be the best rural Baristas for sure.


7. From GWF ICDL Group Coordinator Gay Sibuyi, Gay was excited to share one of Deliwe Tibane‘s exciting moment. Deliwe was on her to the airport to catch her first ever flight.


8. From GWF CEO Kate Groch, on Spring Day our South African sky was graced with a Solar Eclipse and it was beautiful. :) Only when you are not looking at it though because it may damage your eyes.


9. From PDLC Coordinator Lulani Vermulen who has just signed up for Twitter. Lulani has been tweeting up a storm and has also helped her colleagues at Philippolis Digital Learning Campus with signing up and learning how to tweet.


10. From Ryan James, who picked through the CompTia A+ class during their lessons at Hazyview Digital Learning Campus and found them working hard and studying harder. #YoungRural ICT students on the roll.


11. From PDLC Coordinator Lulani Vermeulen, the Open Learning Academy students have been living up to GWF values  and one of them is having fun.
