GWF Week In Edu-Tweets #41

1. From Hazyview Media Intern Wiseboy Shabangu, this past week a new group of the Bridging Year Academy was introduced to their ICDL course at Hazyview Digital Learning Campus. It has a very productive week since many of them are now able to do computer basics. We are very happy to know that we are helping more young people to groom their futures through digital education.

2. From Ryan James, the project committee held a meeting during the week to talk about the new project. Look out for new things, great things are coming.

3. From PDLC Coordinator Lulani Vermuelen, the Philippolis team have shared a ‘wonder-filled’ quote in one of their morning circle. This is a great way to start the day indeed.

4. From JDLC Coordinator Linky Nkuna, Linky was very proud to see her team helping their cleaning lady who recently lost her father. We send our deepest condolences to our team member.

5. From Head of Open Learning Academy Crispen Bvumbghe, Crispen is always excited to see the Open Learning learners who are always happy with ‘wonder-filled’ learning.

6. From GWF Hospitality Master Witness Mnisi, we welcome Witness into the tweeting family. He just signed up for Twitter later this week. We are hoping to see more tweets from you Witness.

7. From Hazyview Media Intern Mfumo Thobela, the Bridging  Academy students were doing their final English Powerpoint presentation. The students were very prepared and we are very proud for their handwork and determination.

8. From Hazyview Media Intern Wiseboy Shabangu, the Media team helped Witness Mnisi to sign up and get his way around Twitter.

9. From Ryan James, We proud to welcome and introduce a new member into the GWF family-Valentina. Valentina is our new amazing printer that was named after the first woman to go to space Valentina Tereshkova. We would love to give a big thank you to Konica Minolta South Africa for this amazing donation. We promise to use Valentina productively and take of her.

10. From Hazyview Media Intern Wiseboy Shabangu, Wiseboy is still celebrating Women-In-Tech. In case you didn’t know the CompTia A+ students are women dominated and that means women are taking a stand. Women empowerment for sure.
