GWF Week In Edu-Tweets #42

1. From Head of Open Learning Academy Crispen Bvumbghe, who has been recently assessing the Open Learning Programme in all of Good Work Foundation’s Digital Learning Campuses. This last week, Crispen and his team visited the Philippolis Digital Learning Campus to work with the education revolutionists from all the way in the  Freestate Province.


2. From Ryan James; among the visitors that we recently had at GWF, we were graced with the presence of an International motivational speaker, Rania H. Anderson, who also had the opportunity to taste what she called “the best cappuccino in Africa,” which was prepared by one of our GWF Barista Desmond Sithole.


3. Philippolis Digital Learning Campus OLA students get a taste of Teaman Manzini aka Mr Moves’ shake and jive session after some fun learning on digital apps.


4. From Hazyview Digital Learning Campus’ ICDL Coordinator Lungile Shabangu, who captured a beautiful photo of the Open Learning facilitators at Philippolis, who were working hard to update and ensure that all the tablets are ready for use the second the learners walk into the campus on Monday morning.

Mfumo Thobela, took a selfie with the Philippolis Campus students as a souvenir of her first ever Philippolis trip. She has also created a gallery of her whole Philippolis trip, look out for the publication this week.


6. From Hazyview Digital Learning Campus Media Coordinator Accolade Ubisi. Accolade captured the moments as Conservation Facilitator Sibusiso Mnisi reminded the OLA learners about the importance of nature conservation during a Coaching for Conservation (C4C) programme, powered by Investec.

11. From Ryan James. The Gr.11 students from Khetsalwati High School are now able to make informed decisions regarding their career paths. Thanks to Professor Kobus J. Maree from the University of Pretoria who has invented and helped GWF implement the Career Interest Profile (CIP) for its students and other learners from local schools around Hazyview.13
