GWF Week In Edu-Tweets #53

1. It is the time of the year where we look back from January to now and say ‘yeah’ we did it nice and smooth, and is time for celebration. Ryan James  couldn’t help but captured this beautiful photo of the master event planners of GWF before we all got inside the Numbi hotel for our christmasy party.

2. A man who mastered multitasking, Open Learning Plus Facilitator Selby Mokoena in the garden. He said it himself  that “It is not just Maths and Coding that he does but he can also ‘programme’ the garden.”Who doesn’t  want to play with dirt after all”?

3. It has been a very busy week but that didn’t stop us from having fun. Hazyview Digital Learning Campus Coordinator Gay sibuyi was very happy to receive something that will encourage her to do better and enlighten her on the kind of person she is and we would like to say thank you to Leon Swatz for this amazing exercise because as a team we ow know where to improve, change and continue doing in order to move our education revolution forward.

4. Plan your future wisely. The GWF CEO Kate Groch want to know what is your one big thing! don’t you want to know? The moment you realise what is your big thing that is where your success will begin.

5. From Ryan James: It has been a week of staff development through out strategic workshop that was held at GWF (Hazyview Campus) by various GWF’s friends Leon Swatz who strongly believes in our mission.

6. We are not just a GWF team or staff, but we are  colleagues, friends and family and we take care of each other. Open Learning Academy facilitator Mpho Lebyane  spent her last day with us at the christmas party to rest her on maternity leave, the GWF family wishes her all the best and amazing journey to motherhood for the third time.

7. From Justicia Digital Learning Campus coordinator Linky Nkuna. Justicia Digital Learning Campus graduation is around the corner and Kenneth Jazi is making sure that the garden looks nice and ready for photoshoot. Thank you Kenneth for the amazing work you do.

8. A question that Hazyview Digital Learning Campus  Media Intern, Wiseboy Shabangu remembered from GWF CEO, Kate Groch, “What do teachers do on their spare time?” They learn!, they upgrade their skills in a digital way just to make their job less difficult with International Computer Driving License (ICDL).

9. The joy of learning at GWF is that we do theory and practical. Justicia Digital Learning Campus Coordinator Linky Nkuna, is very proud seeing Justicia Campus students who were doing Hospitality paying attention before doing their practicals.
