Londolozi Digital Learning Centre

The Londolozi Digital Learning Centre – located at Londolozi Private Game Reserve in Mpumalanga – was setup in 2007 with the objective of providing Londolozi personnel with sustainable learning instruction and accredited training in the areas of English, tourism and digital literacy.

Basic to the approach is the understanding that by giving each person the opportunity to reach their full potential Londolozi is able to create a personnel environment that will enrich the lodge, the game reserve and the individual.

Londolozi also believes that investment in these individuals will create leaders who will seed excellence in their own communities.

In order to facilitate this process of leadership building, Londolozi has engaged Mo Groch. Mo has three decades of teaching experience and her wisdom has helped to develop the Londolozi Digital Learning Centre. Mo is also involved in early childhood enrichment and learning through the Londolozi pre-school.

Londolozi Digital Learning Centre has been a cornerstone of Good Work Foundation’s vision for rural digital learning centres. It does not get more “rural” than this, and the success of the model at Londolozi has inspired us to setup more ambitious projects, such as the Hazyview Digital Learning Centre, which opened its doors in 2012.
