Our Christmas Video

In 2013, the vision of creating the first academic campus in rural South Africa became a reality. At Hazyview Digital Learning Centre, three academies successfully launched to help educate over 1000 students.

Back in 2005, our organisation’s “first steps” were a little different. In fact, they involved a building manual, a faulty water pipe, a small beat-up car, and a great expanse of semi-desert called the “Karoo”.

In our special Christmas video this year we share the story of those first steps.

Thank you for the part you all play in helping us to build a campus, a vision and model that’s changing lives.

With love and appreciation,

Kate Groch and the Good Work Foundation Team

(P.S. There are some things in life that the digital revolution can’t solve. Like the experience of suffering through chickenpox. Kate – our fearless CEO – is on the mend, but declined the offer to be “live” on screen for this year’s Christmas video).
