Ryan James Head of Development

Ryan manages relationships with key partners and develops major strategic initiatives. Prior to joining Good Work Foundation, Ryan was the Global Head of Creative Operations at multinational sports marketing company, RetailTribe, where he held a number of positions over ten years. He holds a BA in Humanities from the University of Stellenbosch, as well as an MA (Cum Laude) in New Media.

Ryan’s articles on the new ‘amplified’ space of online literary reading have been published in international journals, including his articles “The Digital David and the Gutenberg Goliath: The Rise of the Enhanced e-book” and “‘Deepening the Shallows’: The Fate of Reading in an Electronic Age, Revisited.”
