1. From GWF Media Intern Mfumo Thobela whose happy to capture more ‘wonder-filled’ moments after missing the Open Learning Academy students over the Easter holidays. This photo was taken on the second day of School and digital learning after the short holidays.


2. From GWF CEO Kate Groch who is half way around the world on a fundraising missing that will help GWF to spread the education revolution all around the South African rural spaces.


3. From GWF Media Intern Mpho Lebyane. 90% of the GWF staff were absorbed from GWF’s Hazyview Campus where they were first students who performed well and loved learning. Today, the very same people are still upgrading their qualifications and attaining more skills through the access GWF has made possible for them. In a weeks’s time, Respect Merahe will write her final ICDL advanced module with all the the best of luck and support behind her.


4. From GWF Media Intern Mfumo Thobela. Open Learning Academy students recently received ‘boogie boards’ that were donated all the way from America and made thy way through to rural Mpumalanga. The students have had so much fun experimenting and learning using these boards every week in the Hazyview Digital Learning Campus.


5. From GWF CEO Kate Groch who was in Harvard University for a conference that left her even more adamant to ensure that GWF lives up to its mission to challenge and continue to encourage positive disruption within all the team members that drive the education revolution in all GWF digital hubs.

From JDLC Coordinator Linky Nkuna whose currently mentoring a team of new volunteers in both Open Learning and Bridging Academy at the recently launched and most remote Justicia Digital Learning Campus. The Justicia campus has also recently started gathering in their morning circle were the team starts the day with a positive quote based on GWF’s values.


7. From GWF Managing Director Ryan James who organised for the team to learn more about excel advanced from the German volunteers who have worked with excel for a very long time.


8. From  GWF Media Intern Mfumo Thobela who enjoys being spoiled with branded items from the organisation she works for. GWF recently got arm bands for the staff that would from time to time remind them about the mission they are on as education revolutionists.


9. From JDLC Coordinator Linky NKuna. It is not everyday that people get to start their working day under marula tree under the sun where they get to share wisdom and words of encouragement as a team, but at GWF campuses, that is one of the most valued traditions carried out  very single day no matter how busy.
