Watch out Philippolis. The Tech Guys are in Town.

The Good Work Foundation (GWF) “Tech Guys”, Vusi Sibiya and Abna Machavana, together with Jos Lalieu, recently got down to the business of kitting out the new Good Work Foundation Philippolis Digital Learning Centre.

They made the 900km journey from Hazyview to Philippolis, loaded with the very latest hardware and educational software, including ten desktop computers and 15 tablets.

“With the help of volunteers from around the world, we have been working on the Philippolis Digital Learning Centre building since June last year” said Kate Groch, GWF CEO. “We have built it one brick at a time, and now our team from Hazyview has networked this centre to be a space of world-class learning. Yes, like any NGO, there are limited resources, but with a dedicated team in Philippolis, a group of volunteers from across the world, and our very own home-grown tech guys, we’ve pulled it off. And that’s what GWF is all about!”

Here are some photos of the Tech Guys in action. Thank you Vusi, Abna and Jos, and Milla and her team in Philippolis.

She's a teacher. She's a photographer. She's a community worker. And she's a "tech girl" as well. Milla helps out during the new installation.

The boys are back in town! The "Tech Guys" work their magic.
