Staff Spotlight: Jane Ngwenyama
This week’s Staff Spotlight is on Jane Ngwenyama. Jane is the new Campus Manager at our Huntington Digital Learning Campus. We’re so lucky to have Jane leading the team after her success as Bridging Year Co-ordination at Dumphries Digital Learning Campus
How long have you been a part of GWF?
I started with GWF in March 2016 as a volunteer. I have been with GWF for 5 years.
What does a typical day look like for you?
My day would be checking up on emails, and checking how the staff are doing. I attend meetings via zoom or in person.
What is your favourite part of the job?
Having one on one meetings with the team because it helps in getting to know everyone and also getting feedback from them.
What do you do for fun/in your spare time?
I go out with friends and my kids.
Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
I see myself having a management or teaching degree.
What is your favourite thing about GWF as a whole?
My favourite thing about GWF is that we connect as a team regardless of us being in different campuses. We still manage to connect and treat each other as a family. GWF is my second family. It also gives opportunities for people to grow and find the purpose in their lives.
What has GWF taught you about yourself?
GWF has taught me to be myself and grab every opportunity I get with both hands and embrace it. It has also helped me recognise my passion in education and helping others.Return to the blog
