London, United Kingdom – Luxury travel company Steadfast Africa hosted its annual fundraising garden party in London on 16 June 2026, raising a phenomenal R2.5-million for its non-profit partners in South Africa, Good Work Foundation (GWF) and the Kolisi Foundation.
Held at the beautiful Chelsea Physic Garden, London’s oldest botanical garden, the event brought together more than 300 supporters, partners, philanthropists and changemakers for an evening dedicated to creating meaningful impact.
This, the fifth such fundraiser of its nature, continued to support GWF and the Kolisi Foundation, both recognised for their innovative and community-driven approaches to addressing inequality and creating opportunity.
In addition to the funds raised on the night, an online auction and raffle (open to a global audience until 8 July) will help the total reach even greater heights, boosting these two organisations’ ability to continue their vital education and social development work.
A highlight of the evening was the fundraising auction, which featured luxury hospitality and travel experiences donated by partners and supporters. Guests enthusiastically bid on exclusive safari lodge stays, luxury travel escapes, premium wine farm experiences and tailored hospitality itineraries from some of Southern Africa’s most sought-after destinations.

Investing in the potential of others
GWF CEO Kate Groch said of the initiative, “Good Work Foundation is able to serve the communities we work in and do the work we do because of the support of our partners; they are an integral part of our 'Pink Family'. This was again shown at the amazing event held in London. We are grateful for our partnership with Steadfast and how it continues to grow. Together, we will continue to do good work and reimagine education and opportunity for young rural South Africans.”
She added that the funds raised through the event would go towards supporting GWF’s conservation programme for primary school children in rural Mpumalanga, cultivating in them a love for the wild spaces of the Greater Kruger National Park.
Added Springbok captain Siya Kolisi, who is preparing for the Boks' upcoming international matches, “I am not a self-made man. I am here because people invested in me. They saw something in me, opened doors for me and gave me opportunities I could never have created on my own. Today, through the Kolisi Foundation, we want to do the same for others. Partnerships like this one with Steadfast Africa and Good Work Foundation remind us that lasting change is never the work of one person or one organisation. It is built by people who choose to invest in the potential of others.”
Steadfast Africa managing director Nick Sadleir hailed yet another successful London fundraiser: “The generosity shown through bidding, donations and participation demonstrated the power of collective action and the shared commitment of our community to creating meaningful change.”
While the London event has concluded, the online raffle and silent auction remain open until 8 July 2026, giving a global audience the opportunity to support these important causes, bid on exceptional experiences and stand a chance to win exciting prizes.
Tickets for the prize draw and access to the silent auction are available online. Here’s how you can enter, bid on lots and support this fundraiser to help create meaningful impact in South African communities:
