Today on Campus: capturing the behind-the-scenes magic of Good Work Foundation
For seven months, from August 2023 to February 2024, Good Work Foundation (GWF) took its social media followers on a joyous online journey with its Today on Campus campaign. This digital initiative peeled back the curtain on activities and highlights across all six of our campuses: Lillydale, Justicia, Huntington, Hazyview, Dumphries and Philippolis.
Our social media audiences got to engage with content guided by the hands and hearts of those who make GWF what it is – from Fumani Mathumbu’s leadership at the Hazyview Digital Learning Campus to amazing behind-the-scenes snippets of staff and learners at other GWF campuses.
“Fumani and his team are doing amazing work in the community – changing the lives of schoolgoing children, enriching the community, creating employment and preparing senior students to be employable,” commented one online user about the GWF team's transformative impact in the community, echoing the sentiments of many. “What a joy to visit this team and fully acknowledge their passion to change the future of our country. Bless you, guys.”
Today on Campus offered more than just insights into the nuts and bolts of our operations; the campaign also showcased our beautiful campus gardens and special guests who visited us, and shared candid shots and videos of staff members and learners having fun. We also took you back to the early days of our campuses – the genesis of Good Work Foundation – showing how we’ve grown and flourished over time.
Each post painted a picture of the resilience, community and passion that make us a beacon of hope and innovation in the rural communities we operate in.
